Before i begin let me ask you a question “Do you like giving exams?”, if its “Yes “ Please click on “X” mark on the right corner of your screen and get the hell outta here (and please start preparing for the upcoming exams)... on the contrary if you are like me who would say “No” even if i top my class (which will never happen even if knew the question paper one month before the exams), then continue reading.

One of the best ways to prepare for an exam

This blog post is coming up after a mixed bag of examinations that i gave in the past two weeks. Why do students hate giving exams... there are many things that keep changing in the world, why not this exams which was found at around 605AD in China (one of the few occurrences where the whole world copied something from the Chinese) Why do boys and girls go behind marks rather than going behind each other?

The answer is simple... try one Mr. Google, after googling the above question the top two results were

If you take this test, and you get a high score, it'll say you're attractive, which means you're every bit as hansome or pretty as you are. If you get low score, it'll say ...

Never knew Google had such a great sense of humor... i think they can change the name of the button “I`m feeling Lucky” to “I`m going nuts”.

But if you look deeply into this Google search result, it has really provided the answer... it had just searched all over its database and provided the results which matched and results that are in its memory, which is exactly what students do before the exams. We memorize whatever we can and vomit it in the exams not really thinking if we are doing justice to our evaluation.

So what should we do to make sure we don’t vomit in exams and do it only when we are drunk? (After looking at the last search result I’m not searching this question in Google)

Make exams “Open Google”:

Give web access to everyone in the exam hall and ask them to find the answers. In this case the people who set the question paper will find it tough rather than people who are answering it. This will be an ultimate test since we just saw how Google answers questions.

Tweet the answers

If Google can help it, why not Twitter and Facebook. In the exam hall ask every student to tweet the answers. In this the evaluators will not have a tough time in reading pages and pages of stories that students like me write.
